About Us

  Victoria Medical Foundation (VMF) is an independent physician association (IPA,5.01(A) non-profit which collectively negotiates and contracts directly with PPOs, HMOs, and group health networks. VMF is a physician driven non-profit organization founded in 1993, which currently consists of 170 practitioners and specialists in 35 different fields of medicine. 

   Victoria Medical Associates is a physician hospital organization (PHO) partnered with Victoria Medical Foundation and DeTar Healthcare System. 

Victoria Medical Associates was founded in 1998 and currently has one facility and 170 physician members. VMF and the members of VMA practice in the following counties at this time: Aransas, Bastrop, Bee, Brazoria, Calhoun, Colorado, DeWitt, Fayette, Goliad, Gonzales, Jackson, Karnes, Matagorda, and Victoria.
